Solstice

The darkest night 

does not break me.
It reveals me.

It was not a mistake. 

It was an initiation, 

fire I walked into 

so I could remember my strength.

I do not fear the dark. 

It trains me. 

It sharpenw me. 

I step out of the chaos, 

wise, wild and whole.
